Group branding

The group's logo and colour, shown across all of the group's SchoolOS apps.

Open the page in SchoolOS

What it is for

The group's logo is uploaded and its colour chosen here. The logo shows at the head of the sidebar, on the sign-in and set-password screens, on the barcode cards, and in the header of printed attendance and campaign reports. The colour tints the staff app, the family app and the gate tablet.

Who uses it

The page opens for whoever holds “View group branding”, to look only, or “Manage tenant settings”, to work in it. In the built-in roles: Owner. A group grants these to any role under Settings → Roles and permissions, and everyone sees only what is within their own scope.

Step by step

  1. Choose the logo file, then “Save”. To remove it: tick “Remove the current logo”, then “Save”.
  2. Choose the colour with the picker or type its code, then “Save colour”.
  3. To go back to SchoolOS's colours: “Default”, then “Save colour”.

How it works

The logo is PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP, up to 300 KB, one per group; replacing it changes it everywhere, and ticking “Remove the current logo” wins over a chosen file. The colour is in the form #RRGGBB, and it is the same as the “Brand colour” in the website settings, so changing it here changes it there; leaving it empty means SchoolOS's colours. Status colours — present, absent and the rest — stay as they are. The action log records the logo's type and size, or the colour. Only someone holding “Manage tenant settings” changes the branding.

On the page
