Reports
Each pupil's absence and lateness over a period you choose, a pupil's report day by day, and every message sent to parents and how far it got.
Open the page in SchoolOSWhat it is for
For the administration and counselling: who was absent most, who comes late, over any period and scope, with each pupil's report to print or give the guardian. On the messages tab, every message from the school: its text, who sent it, whether it arrived, and why not.
Who uses it
The page opens for whoever holds “View attendance reports”; it is for reading, nothing on it changes anything. In the built-in roles: Owner, Principal, Stage supervisor, Counselor. A group grants these to any role under Settings → Roles and permissions, and everyone sees only what is within their own scope.
Step by step
- Choose the scope and the period (the last 30 days by default).
- On “Absence & lateness”, set if you like the number of absent or late days from and to, such as absent from 3 days.
- Press a pupil's name for their report day by day.
- On “Messages”, narrow to what was sent or what failed.
- Export to Excel or print.
How it works
For each pupil in the period: “Absent” is the days absent without an excuse, “Absent excused” the days absent covered by an approved excuse, and “Late” every late day, excused or not; the list puts the most absent first. A pupil's report counts the school days from the school's calendar since their enrolment up to today. Messages by kind: today's attendance, custom, exit permit, excuse, other; and by state: queued, sent, delivered, read, failed with the reason, not sent. A period is one school year at most. The guardian's phone and a message's text show to those allowed to see guardians' numbers, and the identity number only in the export file, for those allowed to see it. A page to look at, and viewing it is recorded.

Questions
- Why is a message's text not shown?
- The text names the guardian, so it shows only to those allowed to see guardians' numbers.
- A message says “Failed”. Why?
- The reason is under its state: no channel set up, WhatsApp not linked, no approved template, no recorded consent, or the provider's own sentence.
